The BATFE is no better than thugs. They employee tactics that turn law-abiding citizens into criminals, ruin their lives, destroy their business, and take away their second amendment rights, all in the name of making the streets safer. I'm not sure about you, but I don't think the streets are safer because of the actions of the BATFE.

They are arbitrary and capricious in their rulings. A old worn out gun, that malfunctions or wasn't maintained, could easily turn a person into a felon and send them to prison for 10 years with a $10,000 fine. A shoelace was once considered to be a machine gun by the BATFE.

Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. Section 3051(a) and (b), BATF special agents are authorized to seize firearms and ammunition with or without a search warrant. This means no probable cause, and no checks and balance, guilty until proven guilty. No innocence exists.
